Last night, we had a huge welcome gathering at my home for our twin visitors. . It was really appreciated that Bian Dube and Thabani fron Ugu. Xolani from HCM and twinning members: Pauline, Judy,Lynne, Pauline, Joe, Johnny Rajoo, Prenesen,Dell, Tilana, Ravi,Dudu,Silvy, Petros and Mzi were here to welcome them. A historical event. Ugu, HCM and Twinning members, including Soderhamn and Oskarshamn reps together -- a very first. We all have the same goal, focusing on our development, exchanging ideas and finding creative ways to share and learn from one another.
Both Oskarshamn and Soderhamn have specific projects in discussion with their twin partners, HCM and Ugu,respectively. Local collaboration with various departments is strengthened by this partnership. In addition this augurs well for ngo and govt. interaction and relations.
